Admission Requirements (Stipendium Hungaricum)

Applicants must submit their documents through the official Stipendium Hungaricum DreamApply portal:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc):

    • Degree in a related field (e.g., Pedagogy, Andragogy, Teacher Education, Psychology, Social Pedagogy).

    • 50-Credit Rule: Applicants holding a degree in other disciplines are eligible if they possess at least 50 ECTS credits in pedagogy, psychology, sociology, anthropology, economics, or law.

  2. Academic Transcripts: Official transcript of records translated into English.

  3. Proof of English Language Proficiency:

    • Minimum B2 level certificate (IELTS, TOEFL, Cambridge FCE or equivalent), or an official Medium of Instruction (MoI) certificate confirming previous degree completed entirely in English.

  4. Valid Passport: Clear copy of passport / national ID.

  5. Motivation Letter: A detailed statement (approx. 2000–3000 characters) outlining academic background, career objectives, and motivation for studying at the Benedek Elek Faculty of Pedagogy.

  6. Medical Certificate & Portfolio/CV: As specified in the general SH application call.

  2. National Nomination: Contact and apply through your country’s Sending Partner (Ministry of Education / relevant national authority).

  3. Institutional Evaluation & Interview: Eligible applicants will be invited by the University of Sopron to an online entrance interview / oral examination.

  4. Final Decision: Tempus Public Foundation announces the final scholarship awards by June/July.
