Students from non-EU/EEA countries must obtain a residence permit within 30 days of entering Hungary — as soon as possible!
All non-EU/EEA citizens must have a valid residence permit throughout their stay and studies in Hungary.
Please carefully check all personal details in the application form, including the exact date and place of birth, mother’s maiden name, etc.
Documents Required for the Application
Please prepare the following documents for your application:
- One passport-sized photo — please bring it with you from home.
- Passport
- School attendance form
- Form for non-EU/EEA citizens
- Letter of Award issued by the Tempus Public Foundation
- Accommodation Reporting Form for third-country nationals — if you live in a dormitory, this form must be completed and signed by a member of the dormitory administration.
If You Rent a Flat
If you live in a rented apartment, you will need:
- Accommodation Reporting Form for third-country nationals, signed by the owner of the apartment or the housing agency.
- Lease agreement between you and the apartment owner or housing agency.
