Obtain NEK Datasheet
-
Visit a Governmental Office (Kormányablak/Kormányhivatal) and have a photo and signature taken.
- When filling out the NEK (National Unified Card System) data sheet for a student ID application in Hungary, it's essential to accurately enter the place of birth to ensure the process succeeds. Many passports, especially those issued abroad, list the country as the place of birth, but the NEK form requires the specific town or city of birth, which must exactly match the details in the Neptun student information system. If there's a mismatch, the student ID application will be rejected, as the system verifies data consistency across official records.
-
Receive the NEK datasheet, which contains the NEK identifier needed for the application.
